Heading into the inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump, the most talked about issue is clearly what changes will be made to the Affordable Care Act.
Is there a single alternative? Nope. Not at all. Not by a long shot.
Is there a consensus that at least there is a need to amend the current law to make it better? Sure. What legislator would argue otherwise?
The real action will be in the US Senate in which, ultimately, they will need 60 votes to pass a bill that will end up in a committee of conference with the House of Representatives.
Here are links to Virginia’s two U.S. Senators’ website on their views of health care.

If there is going to be progress made, there is going to be a compromise.
Like the Rolling Stones lyrics in “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” – but if they “try sometime, you (they) just might find, you (they) get what they need.”
For the Trump voter, that may sufficient; however, for the base voter of the Democratic and Republican parties, it may not be.
Pay close attention and let your voice be heard.
