Former state delegate and VCHA Co-Chair Chris Peace has a message for anyone in need of medical attention: don’t delay your care any longer. Healthcare providers across Virginia are holding the line against COVID-19, and the Virginia Department of Health announced last week that the 7-day average of new cases in the Commonwealth is falling. This means that if you’ve been putting off visiting a hospital, health clinic, dentist, or community health center, you don’t have to wait any longer. As long as you are taking the appropriate COVID-19 personal safety measures, including wearing a face covering, social distancing, and washing your hands regularly, visiting a healthcare provider is completely safe.
